sitebox identity
One account for all WordPress instances
SiteBox Identity is an add-on service for all Enterprise plans. Manage user pools, privileges and all resources from a single place, securely hosted in the SiteBox platform.
Unified login gateway
SiteBox Identity provides a single login gateway, replacing all different authentication flows into one practical solution no matter if you log in to a WordPress instance, SiteBox Dashboard, CLI experience or MySQL database.
Control access globally
You can manage all of your users to scale in the SiteBox Dashboard. Granularly control access to specific instances or actions using a powerful permission editor to ensure all critical website resources are protected.
Policies out of the box
SiteBox Identity comes with a variety of password policies and best industry standards (including multi-factor authentication) – to ensure identification is well protected.
Pen-tested and secure
SiteBox Identity is powered by external IdP, one of the market leading authentication layers. To ensure security, we periodically run pen-tests and scans.
One gateway to all SiteBox services
Enterprise security
The SiteBox platform handles user management for your agency out of the box. No extra plugins, third party integrations or services are required.
Advance protection
Regular WordPress does not block numerous requests to wp-login.php and might encounter targeted attacks. SiteBox Identity’s unified login gateway addresses the problem and temporarily locks an account after a number of unsuccessful login requests.
Multi-factor authentication
SiteBox Identity can easily implement the Multi-factor Authentication feature missing from regular WordPress. All successful login attempts are required to provide an extra passphrase using an additional device, including mobile.
Password policies
SiteBox Identity, by default, implements password policies to keep user accounts secure. Users will be requested to update their password after a period of time, and supply additional security information.
Events logging
Every login attempt will be saved to the permanent logging system. Your agency will be fully aware of which resources have been used by specific users.
External password database
SiteBox Identity securely stores passwords in an external database, significantly reducing the risks involved with database leaks.
Secure WordPress
WordPress instances are vulnerable to user enumeration attacks. SiteBox hosted websites can introduce a solution to address this problem as a part of the SiteBox Identity add-on.
