In contrast, WordPress Security plugins become active at a later stage in the request processing cycle after the traffic has already reached the server. These plugins may not filter traffic as efficiently, continuing to consume server resources, and they do not provide comprehensive protection against DDoS attacks. By default, SiteBox Enclave does not have any rules that limit access to the environment enabled. What types of rules can be configured in SiteBox Enclave?
SiteBox Enclave users have the flexibility to configure additional rulesets, allowing them to finely control access to their environment and ensure a solid defence against potential threats. These rulesets can be customised to block access, override existing protections, or permit traffic from specific visitor segments. These segments can be defined based on various criteria such as IP address, IP range, User Agent, or a predefined header, providing granular control over who can access the website.
